Separation Unit
Input materials undergo initial examination, and upon entering the factory, they are separated and categorized based on predetermined acceptance and rejection criteria. The purchased loads vary for different production lines; for the wire rod production line using the UPCAST method, Grade 1 cathodes with a purity of 99.999% are employed. However, for the CCM slab production line, copper scrap along with red cables and cathodes used in the furnace charging program are utilized. The task of the separation unit involves coordinating with the laboratory unit for the initial assessment of incoming loads to the company. After obtaining their approvals, the unit proceeds with separation and categorization according to specified criteria.
